make a magic ring or ch 5, slst to first chain to form ring
ch 38 (this will be the hanging strap), slst into ring, ch 3, dc 30 into loop (if using a magic ring, tighten the ring but do not tighten the hole completely), ignore the hanging strap and slst into top of ch3 to join (31 dc)
ch 3, dc 5 into same st, dc 6 into each st around, (do not work into the hanging strap), slst to join
repeat round 2
cut yarn, tie off, and weave in ends
Pattern is written in North American crochet terms.
You can make a larger puff by crocheting another round of 4 dc in each stitch. You will need more yarn to do this but if you have some extra, go ahead and make it bigger.
Change the look by changing the yarn colour in each round or only round 3.
Because of the sizing product used on the yarn, it is best if you wash your bath puff before using it to remove the sizing.
